High-Functioning but Overwhelmed? Free Self-Check

You may still be working, caring for others and getting things done while feeling exhausted, tense or unable to switch off inside.

This free self-check is designed to help you notice patterns across your thoughts, body, emotions and behaviour. It is not a diagnostic test, but a simple reflective tool to help you understand when coping may be costing more than it appears.

Why this self-check may help

High-functioning stress does not always look like falling apart.

Sometimes you are still meeting deadlines, looking after other people and appearing completely capable while your mind rarely switches off and your body is carrying more tension than you realise.

You may notice overthinking, difficulty resting, irritability, poor recovery after stress, perfectionism or the feeling that you have to keep going even when you are already exhausted.

This self-check can help you pause and notice those patterns before they become easier to ignore simply because you are still functioning.

High-functioning anxiety is not itself a formal diagnosis, and feeling overwhelmed does not automatically mean burnout. The purpose of this resource is reflection rather than diagnosis.

If some of these patterns feel familiar and you would like to understand what is driving them, you can read more about how I work or book a free 20-minute consultation.
